Festival fever hits Jurassic Coast
Visit Dorset’s Attractions Festival bursts into life today with a host of special offers over the coming week.
The annual extravaganza showcases many of the county’s best tourist attractions and visitor destinations.
Visit Dorset, which is the official tourism website for Dorset, is holding the celebration until Sunday April 7.
Many businesses and attractions have ‘two for one’ specials or other deals on offer, while a special mobile voucher can be downloaded on the Visit Dorset website.
Those taking part included the amazing Etches Collection Museum of Jurassic Marine Life at Kimmeridge.
This really is a jewel in the crown of the world heritage coast with among the finest single collection of late Jurassic fossils anywhere.
Others include Weymouth Sea Life Adventure Park, Lulworth Castle and Park, Moors Valley Country Park and Forest, Palmers Brewery in Bridport, Athelhampton House and Gardens, Shire Hall Historic Courthouse Museum in Dorchester, Abbotsbury Swannery and the Dinosaur Museum in Dorchester.
