Enjoy Great Days out on the Jurassic Coast – Discover Attractions, Visitor Centres and Museums

The Jurassic Coast is the setting for some stunning attractions, visitor centres and museums.  But big or small, old or new – all tell compelling stories of the stunning Jurassic Coast and its incredible communities.

The ‘Jurassic Coast’ Natural World Heritage Site stretches 95 miles from Exmouth in East Devon to Studland Bay in Purbeck, Dorset.

It’s an extraordinarily unique place because it reveals 185 million years of Planet Earth’s history. There are lots of amazing attractions, visitor centres and museums to discover along the way.

Each has its own take on the Jurassic Coast – from famous fossils and incredible marine wildlife to smugglers, pirates and incredible experiences to enjoy.  Travelling from east Devon to Purbeck in Dorset here’s a few to explore.

(The disclaimer stuff: Information correct at time of posting. Please always check opening times before travelling. Some charge an admission fee. Always be careful on the coast and use your common sense. Follow warning signs, stay away from cliff tops and bottoms.)
