Enjoy a cliff top show at The Minack Theatre
The Minack Theatre is Cornwall’s world-famous open air amphitheatre perched on the cliff tops overlooking the Atlantic Ocean in the enchanting far-west of the county. It’s right next to the stunning Porthcurno Beach – past Penzance and it’s Pirates.
The Minack Theatre lays on a splendid variety of matinee and evening performances including kids favourites like Peter Pan through to musicals and the Proms, plus more traditional plays like Shakespeare.
2017 is no different with some absolute classics. Here’s some of the highlights. But be quick to book as shows are super-popular and tickets go fast!

The theatre’s roots started in the 1930s when Minack House owner Rowena Cade created a place for local drama performers to stage Shakespeare’s ‘The Tempest’. The legend of the Minack has grown and grown since then with some 80,000 visiting each year to enjoy a show, and 150,000 coming just to look around.
